Hey, I am a 49 year old guy, 50 in May, who has just decided to blog.  I am a substitute teacher during the summer months, then work for a menial job with the Kansas City Royals during the baseball season.  I am living in my college roommates duplex, which he gives me a break on rent for some sweat equity.  I am currently not dating anyone, and have never been married or have any kids, but have left a long line of broken hearts.

I like Letterman and Leno, Conan O"Brien, and Craig Ferguson, who I get to see because he is delayed by an hour here in Kansas City.  For fun, I like to go to the $2 movie house, which shows the movies that have been out for about two months, just before they are sent to video.  I also have 1200 albums, the big vinyl discs with the holes in the middles that your mom and dad played when you were conceived, (that last being for the people who have never played anything but CDs.)  I'm a college grad, and have done little with the pieces of paper I got from the university, (although I have spent 15 years in the classroom).  I am a Christian, but will probably not get into heaven for violating the commandment that says not to use the Lord's name in vain.  Goshdarnit.

There I go again.  Well, anyway, a blog is supposed to be a running commentary on just anything that you are thinking.  So this ends my first, but not last blog.   Dougie Fresh
