Well, I went to the first home game Breckenridge ever played in football.  At least the first one Breckenridge players ever played in.  The Breckenridge guys go over to another small town for practice and the games, since they are combined in one team with the young men from Southwest of Ludlow.  We had a starting running back, (go Malcolm, in my Alg II class), and a starting receiver, but the best player on the team was Leslie, one of my freshmen boys.  When I met him for the first time, I figured he was a senior, because he was so tall.  (He looks -kinda- like the Tom Cruise character in All the Right Moves.)  But anyway, he was all over the field, and made about a third of the tackles, which is a lot because it is eight man football.  This kid is a man in a boy's body, and could have a future at a small college, but of course he is just a freshman.

God bless Coach T., our PE teacher.  He coaches softball, then runs over fifteen miles to coach football, then has games in both sports, and has to drive 25 miles home from B-ridge, and 30 miles from Ludlow.  The man does it all for six months out of the year, for fall sports and basketball.  He is truly a treasure to the community, and you won't find a nicer guy.

Well, Gina met my boss and my boss met Gina.  I found out the reason that Gina is not wild about marriage is not because of me, but because of her experience with her former husband.  He was less than perfect about it, and she has the mental scars, (although he never physically did anything wrong to her, and this I know, because he is still alive, and I know her little brother is a card carrying member of the NRA.  Trust me, he could have made it look like a hunting , even if it was in the front room.  --Of course, I am waxing poetically.  I don't think he would commit manslaughter.  But he might have roughed him up a bit.--)

Anyway, I don't know if I could ever find anyone better for me than Gina.  Of course, I have women flirt with me from time to time, maybe that is why they are divorced.  And Lord knows, no women are beating down the doors of 123 Main Street, Anytown USA where I live.  So, we will continue to see each other until she gets tired of me.  Tata for now, Dougie Fresh
